These Terms of Business apply for all customers of bestcashprice.co.uk. They are applicable whether the
transaction is completed in person, over the telephone, by post, fax or email.
If you are in any doubt about the contents of our terms of business then please do discuss your queries with
us prior to selling your car to us. Please contact us via any of the quoted methods on our contact us page,
we will be delighted to answer your queries.
We reserve the right to refuse to purchase or make a cash offer for your vehicle without giving a reason,
although we always will endeavour to do so.
All vehicles will be subject to HPI / Experian report in addition to the inspection carried out in person
by a bestcashprice representative.
The price we offer you will be subject to all the considerations as outlined in the bestcashprice website.
We reserve the right to alter these considerations at anytime, also bearing in mind constant changes in
market conditions.
When a price has been agreed between both parties, you agree to supply us with full ownership documentation when we collect the vehicle i.e. Vehicle registration document / V5, MOT certificates, service history, unexpired road fund licence, owners manuals, audio equipment, spare keys and any other relevant item that belongs to the vehicle. If replacement documentation is required we shall agree the course of action required before payment is made to you. We reserve the right to judge if there is sufficient proof of ownership and supporting relevant documents to enable us to proceed and pay you without the original important documents being present e.g. logbook / V5. All outstanding finance needs to be confirmed prior to our final inspection. A settlement letter from the relevant finance company will be required. Due to the data protection act it will be necessary for you, the client to request this.
We then can settle the finance directly so that clearance is confirmed and no third party has any further
interest in the subject vehicle. The remaining balance will then be paid to you in funds, via electronic
transfer (cleared before vehicle is taken ) or bankers draft ( supported with verification ).
Any direct-debit payments set-up to the finance company should be cancelled by the client. We take no
responsibility for any charges incurred whatsoever in this regard.
If the outstanding balance is more than the agreed price, you agree to pay
bestcashprice.co.uk the difference between these amounts at point of collection as per the relevant finance companies settlement letter.
If, in our opinion, on final inspection of the vehicle, the vehicles condition is not as described,
we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly.
Whenever we quote a price, that price is in pounds sterling and is inclusive of UK rated VAT where
applicable. You are entirely responsible for the disclosure and payment of any duties or other taxes
which apply.
Proof of I.D will be required i.e. Driving Licence, Passport ( this is for fraud and money laundering
regulations ). If there is an issue e.g. a suspected stolen vehicle or similar suspicious circumstances then
we will report any findings to the police.
HPI / Experian reports are only gained upon your acceptance of the initial price we offer and/or our
initial telephone conversation. Information revealed from these reports could result in our offer being amended.
A standard charge of £75 plus VAT will be payable if we are not notified 24 hours in advance of a cancellation once the seller has agreed to the valuation and a collection date. The same charge shall be applicable in the event that upon collection the vehicle is not as described as per our telephone correspondence and a new valuation cannot be agreed between both parties.
Any personal information we receive and hold will be subject to the terms of our privacy policy, a copy of which can be found on our bestcashprice website.
We, our partners, employees and other agents shall not be liable for damages of any kind including without limitation, direct, indirect, special or consequential damages, loss of income or profits, loss of or corruption of data, loss of or damage to property or claims of third parties, arising out of or in connection with our purchase of your vehicle or our late non-collection of your vehicle.
If any of these terms of business are unenforceable it shall not affect the enforceability of the rest of these
terms of business.
Other than as provided in these terms, nothing said by our employees or sub-contractors shall amount to a
variation of these conditions of purchase or a representation about the service we provide.
We reserve the right to make additions or change these terms at anytime.
